Joel de la Fuente * (Ariel) is in his second season with The Shakespeare Theatre. Company credits: Richard III. New York credits: I Have Been to Hiroshima, Mon Amour (Jean Wagner, director), Round and Round (2g, Kate Whoriskey, director), Ivanov (Mint Theater/NAATCO, Jonathan Bank, director), The Downtown Plays (Tribeca Theater Festival, John Rando, director), Beatrice and Benedict with the New York Philharmonic (conducted by Sir Colin Davis), Fuenteovejuna (David Herskovitz, director), The Three Sisters (Mud/Bone Theatre Collective), The Square (Lisa Petersen, director), America Dreaming (Michael Mayer, director), and The Two Gentlemen of Verona (NYSF, Adrian Hall, director). Other theatrical credits: The Winter’s Tale (Williamstown Theatre Festival, Darko Tresjnak, director), Chay Yew’s Wonderland (La Jolla Playhouse) and Peter Sellars’ production of The Peony Pavilion. He is an alumnus of Brown University and the Graduate Acting Program at NYU.
