EDMOND GENEST *(Narrator, Sir Francis, etc.) is in his fourteenth season with The Shakespeare Theatre. Company credits: King Lear, Time of Your Life, Pride and Prejudice, The Cherry Orchard, Life of Galileo, Hay Fever, Much Ado About Nothing, The Illusion, Three Sisters, Twelfth Night, Camino Real, Cyrano de Bergerac, Artists and Admirers and Our Town. Broadway credits: The Elephant Man (with Billy Crudup), A Few Good Men, The Real Thing, two productions of Whose Life is It Anyway?, Onward Victoria and Dirty Linen and New-Found Land. Off-Broadway credits: the original production of The Real Inspector Hound, and Later Life at Playwrights Horizons; Escape from Happiness at Naked Angels; Pantomime at Hudson Guild; and The Browning Version at Roundabout Theatre Company. Regional credits: A Number (Theaterworks in Hartford, CT); To the Lighthouse (Berkeley Rep. in Berkeley, CA); and other work with Long Wharf Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Yale Repertory Company, Hartford Stage, Huntington Theatre Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival (for five seasons), The Kennedy Center, Pittsburgh Public Theater, City Theatre of Pittsburgh, Alliance Theatre, Geva Theatre Center, Alley Theatre and Cincinnati Playhouse. Most recently, Edmund was in The 13th of Paris at the City Theatre of Pittsburgh. Most recently Mr. Genest was seen as Richard in The Seafarer at Theaterworks in Hartford.
