JESSICA IRES MORRIS
* (Poppy Norton Taylor) is in her third season with The Shakespeare Theatre. Company Credits: Paulina in Winter’s Tale, Charlotte Lucas in Pride and Prejudice, Calpurnia in Julius Caesar, and the Ballad Singer’s Wife in Life of Galileo on the Main Stage; Titania/Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Montjoy in Henry V and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth with Shakespeare LIVE!. New York credits: the Epic Theatre Center, The Lark Theater and Ars Nova. Regional Credits: the Hippodrome State Theater of Florida, The Texas Repertory Theater, The REDCAT at the Disney Symphony Hall, and the Brewery Arts Complex in L.A. While living in Los Angeles, Jessica was a member of the Antaeus Theatre Company and the Open Fist Theater Company. She has performed at the Jerusalem Theatre Festival and at the Frictions Theatre Festival in Dijon, France. She trained at Smith College, The Moscow Art Theater, The National Theatre Institute, Manhattan Theatre Club, LAByrinth, and earned her MFA from California Institute of the Arts. In October 2009 she will appear as Titania in Midsummer at the Actors Theatre of Louisville.
