Each year our Gala features a wonderful Silent Auction that is open for bidding from the start of the event at 6:30 until 8:45, when we shut the bidding down and usher our guests into our “grand ballroom” for our annual Cabaret performance. Our auction tables offer up a plethora of unique items, many of which allow guests to bid on exciting and unusual experiences. You and a guest can spend a morning in rehearsal with company member Jeffrey M. Bender as he directs the hilarious cast of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) (revised). The Drew Forum has been the region’s leading venue for public lectures since 1994. World leaders, history makers, opinion shapers, and scholars from a variety of fields have all appeared on the Drew stage.

The Drew Forum is presented through the generosity of the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation. The Thomas H. Kean Visiting Lecturer appears through an endowment created in honor of the former Governor and Drew President with whom it shares its name.

You will receive two subscriptions to the 2016 – 2017 Drew Forum Lecture Series. The British theater company, Punchdrunk, presents Sleep No More, its site-specific Hitchcock-Shakespeare mash-up, at the former McKittrick Hotel building in Chelsea. This legendary space is home to this provocative and unusual experience inspired by Shakespeare’s classic Scottish tragedy. Audiences may move freely through a surreal world at their own pace, choosing their own path through history, immersed in a truly unique theatrical experience.

This package includes two VIP tickets to a performance of Sleep No More on any available evening through July 9, 2016.  Reservations include front of the line access, complimentary coat/bag check, and a reserved table in the Manderley Bar with a bottle of bubbly libations to enjoy throughout the evening.

Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) was a modern architect who developed an organic and distinctly American style. Over his career he created numerous iconic buildings.

This lot includes a tour for six people of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Richardson House in Glen Ridge, one of only three Wright structures remaining in New Jersey.
