MICHAEL GIANNITTI (Lighting Designer) is in his eleventh season with the Festival.
N.J.S.F. credits: TARTUFFE, RHINOCEROS, MEASURE FOR MEASURE, SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL,
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, THE THREEPENNY OPERA, BLITHE SPIRIT, TWO GENTLEMEN
OF VERONA, ARTISTS AND ADMIRERS, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
and THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH. He designed lighting on Broadway and for the pre-Broadway
resident theatre tour of August Wilson's JOE TURNER'S COME AND GONE. Mr. Giannitti
frequently designs for The Studio Theatre in D.C., Shakespeare and Company and
Capital Rep. Other lighting credits include Indiana Rep, George Street Playhouse,
Jomandi (Atlanta) and ten productions at Trinity Rep. New York dance lighting
credits include The Joyce, Dance Theatre Workshop, Danspace, The Kitchen and P.S.
122 for Marta Renzi, Susan Rethorst and Cathy Weis, and for Everett Dance Theatre
at the Spoleto Festival, Walker Art Center, Hopkins Center and other venues. Michael
has been on the faculty at Bennington College in Vermont since 1992.
