Brian Avers

BRIAN AVERS (Gentleman/Sailor/Guard/Lord) is in his first season with the Festival. Brian is a B.F.A. graduate from Marymount Manhattan College. In 1996, he was the recipient of two national awards for acting, and since has performed as Philinte in THE MISANTHROPE, Prior Walter in ANGELS IN AMERICA: MILLENIUM APPROACHES, Kreon in ANTIGONE, Sir Charles Gayman in THE LUCKY CHANCE, and Jody in LONELY PLANET. Brian toured the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in TARTUFFE, returning to the U.K. three years later to play Archer in George Farquhar's THE BEAUX STRATEGEM (Irina Brown, dir.). He most recently won accolades as Don Felix in the T. Schreiber production of THE WONDER: A WOMAN KEEPS A SECRET, and is delighted to be part of the recipe here in New Jersey.
