ANDREW LONG (Cleon/Knight) Andrew is a company member at The Shakespeare Theatre
in Washington, D.C. where previous roles include: Coriolanus, Bolingbroke in RICHARD
II, Oberon in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, Posa in DON CARLOS, Bosola in THE DUCHESS
OF MALFI, Edmund in KING LEAR, Gratiano in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE and many others.
He has also worked at the Oregon, Alabama, and Illinois Shakespeare Festivals
where roles include Angelo in MEASURE FOR MEASURE, Trigorin in THE SEAGULL, Tranio
in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW and others. Andrew was seen at the Guthrie as Carson
in GROSS INDECENCY, at the Arena Stage as Talthybias and Aegisthus in AGAMEMNON
AND HIS DAUGHTERS, at the Pioneer Theater as Hortensio in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW
and also at the Nevada Repertory Company as the title role in SUNDAY IN THE PARK
WITH GEORGE. Andrew has an M.F.A. from the University of Alabama/Alabama Shakespeare
Festival.
