LEAH KREUTZER (Choreographer) is in her first season with The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. She is the artistic director of LKB Dance, a modern dance company she founded in 1999. A dancer and choreographer whose work has been seen off-Broadway, regionally and internationally, Ms. Kreutzer is the recipient of Fellowship 2000 in choreography from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Her company has performed at Joyce SoHo, the 92nd Street Y, John Harms Center for the Arts, Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, and annually at George Street Playhouse, where Kreutzer's work was described by The New York Times as "compelling" and "haunting," and by Ballet Review as "full of invention and intensity." A founding member of Anna Sokolow's Players Project, Ms. Kreutzer's theater work includes the recent premiere of Wendy Kesselman's THE LAST BRIDGE directed by David Saint, Beth Henley's L PLAY, CAMPING WITH HENRY AND TOM at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and work at The Actors Studio, La Mama and the Harold Clurman Theatre. She was a featured choreographer and performer at this year's New York Elan Awards honoring Ann Reinking. Since 1988, she has been on the theater faculty at Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts and is a former teaching artist for Lincoln Center Institute.
