MICHAEL STEWART ALLEN (Roderigo) is in his sixth season with The Shakespeare Theatre.

ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL, SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH, WONDERLAND,
ROMEO AND JULIET and THE BLUE BIRD. He has worked in television, film and theatres
both in N.Y.C. and across the country. Most recently: Dromio of Syracuse in THE
COMEDY OF ERRORS at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, Ruben in ESCANNABA
IN DA MOONLIGHT at Contemporary American Theatre Company, John Merrick in THE
ELEPHANT MAN at 12 Miles West, Algernon in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST at
Contemporary American Theatre Company, Benedick in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING for
Compass Rose, Tom Joad in GRAPES OF WRATH for Arkansas Repertory and CATCo. This
winter, he can be heard making battlefield death rattles in Anthony Mingela's
film adaptation of COLD MOUNTAIN.
