CARALYN KOZLOWSKI (Desdemona) is in her third season with The Shakespeare Theatre.
Company credits include Irina in THREE SISTERS, Light in THE BLUE BIRD and Olivia
in TWELFTH NIGHT. This August, she appeared as Evelyn in THE SHAPE OF THINGS at
the Barrington Stage Company. Other credits include Athena in the off-Broadway
production of Derek Wolcott's THE ODYSSEY; Olga in THREE SISTERS at the TheAtre;
leading roles in LOVE'S FIRE at the Berkshire Theatre Festival; and creating the
role of Estella in John Jake and Mel Marvin's GREAT EXPECTATIONS. Television credits:
most recently, Dr. Parker-Newlands on LAW AND ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT; the
recurring roles of Lori Jenson on GUIDING LIGHT and Linda on THIRD WATCH; Ophelia
and Lady Macbeth in AN ACTOR'S STORY; Kate on ALL MY CHILDREN; and Helen Simpson
on GUIDING LIGHT. Film credits: PRACTICAL MAGIC, HOME MOVIES, ROMANTIC COMEDY
and THE LAST GOODBYE. Caralyn is very excited to have recently made her New York
City directorial debut with THE QUEEN OF BINGO, by Jeanne Michels and Phyllis
Murphy. She received her B.F.A. in acting from S.U.N.Y. Purchase.
