JOHN FITZGIBBON (Uncle Tudyr/Smoky, the Park Keeper) is in his fourth season with

THE ILLUSION, A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES (two years). Broadway: THE INCOMPARABLE
MAX! with Richard Kiley. John is a founding member of the Open Eye Theater where
he received an Obie nomination for his performance in W.B. Yeats's CAT AND THE
MOON. He also had the privilege of playing opposite the late Kim Hunter in GHOSTS
at the New Globe Theatre off-Broadway. Regional: MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN (Best
of Boston Award) with New Repertory Theater, IMMORTAL INTERLUDE at New Jersey
Repertory, SIGHT UNSEEN at the Caldwell Theater (Carbonell Nomination), Also:
Coconut Grove Playhouse, Mark Taper Forum, New York Public Theater. Television:
PEARL, THE ISLANDER, EQUAL JUSTICE, HAWAII 5-0 and many soap operas. Film: the
leading role in the soon-to-be-released feature film GREEN LIGHTS and Dr. Baines
in the film short SHOCK ACT. Other: GAUGUIN IN TAHITI in Hawaii and Athens with
Joseph Campbell. John attended the London Academy of Dramatic Arts on a Fulbright
scholarship.
