GILLIAN LANE-PLESCIA (Dialect Coach) is in her first season with The Shakespeare
Theatre. She has coached many productions at numerous theatres, including Arena
Stage, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Alley, Center Stage Baltimore, Classic Stage,
Goodman, Guthrie, Hartford Stage, Huntington, Long Wharf, McCarter, Milwaukee
Rep, Public Theatre, Seattle Rep, The Shakespeare Theatre in the Nation's Capital,
Steppenwolf, Trinity Rep, and Yale Rep, and was for ten years English diction
coach for the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Most recently, she coached PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
at the Guthrie and ROMEO AND JULIET at Seattle Rep. She teaches at The Juilliard
School and The National Theatre Institute of the Eugene O'Neill Center, and produces
a popular series of dialect CDs for actors.
