F. WADE RUSSO (Musical Director) returns to The Shakespeare Theatre, having previously
served as musical director for TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA THE MUSICAL and numerous
galas. Recent credits include THE MIKADO at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre; conducting
and keyboard for the new Broadway cast recording and video/DVD of BY JEEVES; and
a collaboration with Robert Duke on a revised version of the Irving Berlin musical
LOUISIANA PURCHASE for the Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial Celebration in Baton
Rouge. Other credits include MAN OF LA MANCHA; H.M.S. PINAFORE; THE PIRATES OF
PENZANCE; A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING; FALSETTOS; BY JEEVES; and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED
ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM at the Pittsburgh Public Theatre; THE APPLE TREE; NO,
NO, NANETTE; DAMES AT SEA; CAN CAN; REDHEAD; PAPER MOON; and SHENANDOAH at the
Goodspeed Opera House; COMPANY at Huntington Theatre; WEST SIDE STORY at Gateway
Playhouse; SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE at St. Louis Art Museum and HAPPY END
at the Juilliard Theatre. Mr. Russo has served on the faculty of Circle in the
Square Theatre School and The Juilliard School.
