Kudos to all involved. A wonderful evening. Even the many
planes flying overhead or the train rolling into Convent Station
could detract from the spirit of wit and fun. When planes
did fly overhead the cast cleverly included the noise in their
interactions and did not just continue as if nothing happened.
A grat example of "if you get lemons, make lemonade".
The real triumph of the evening was Bonnie Monte's up-to-the-minute
translation of the play. Eighteenth century clowns are saying
"Whatever!" and where do you "stand on this
issue". It was a joy to hear. And Ms. Monte even got
Led Zeppelin the act with a line about having a "bustle
in your hedgerow." I'm still laughing over that one.
Again, "Props" to all involved.

The
perfect play in the perfect outdoor theatre makes for a perfect
summer evening! Kudos to Bonnie Monte and the entire cast
for this gem. This was my favorite outdoor production so far.
